Te tirohanga whakamua – Vision

The vision of Te Kura o Ngāpuke is to produce graduates:

  • who are outstanding, confident, successful young people
  • who are fluent speakers of Te Reo Māori
  • who are experts in Ngāti Hinemihi tikanga
  • who have a clear vocational direction
  • who have the skills, knowledge, and qualifications to pursue their vocational pathway

The guiding beliefs and principles of Te Kura o Ngāpuke are:

  • Wairuatanga – We are guided, cared for, and blessed by te Kaihanga
  • Whanaungatanga – We are a whānau
  • Manaakitanga – We care for ourselves, one another, our visitors, family, friends, our school resources, and our environment
  • Kotahitanga – We work and play in unity
  • Rangatiratanga – We are rangatira whose conduct and manner in all matters of school life reflects this
